Awareness. Acceptance. Change.

You

So you’ve come to a place in your life where you realize that you’d prefer things to be different. You’re not living the life you pictured, or maybe the life you pictured isn’t the life you want. Maybe you want to change something about yourself: the way you communicate, the way you’ve felt since a difficult event, or your relationship to your emotions. Maybe you don’t even know what you want but you know you’re not happy. Something needs to change.

Counseling can help.

Me

I help by creating an accepting, non-judgmental environment where you can talk. I make it feel safe to share your thoughts and feelings about the past and present, your hopes and desires for the future. I show you patterns and connections, and allow you to see more options.

I think of therapy as a tool that a person can choose to use. The goal of therapy is not to change the core of who you are, but to help you make the changes you want to make.
